Ellie Oleen
Ellie is a creative for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. She is from Milaca, Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, hanging out with friends, fishing, drawing, reading, spending time with family and rock climbing. 
One of Ellie’s career goals is to be the head of advertising or public relations for a small company, like a resort. If she could either have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, she would choose to fly. If she could go back to any time period she would go back to the roaring 20’s because of the carefree, fun-loving glamor. If Ellie could only have one meal for the rest of her life, she would have mashed potatoes, Perkins pancakes and a raspberry iced tea. Ellie is inspired by Jennifer Anniston, her favorite word is shenanigans and if she could learn to do one thing, she would learn to snowboard. When asked the question, Where’s Waldo? Ellie responded with: “Trying to find Marco?”.

Jana Lloyd
This week’s first Northway Spotlight is Jana Lloyd.
Jana is a CEO of our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. Jana is from Becker, Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys binge watching Criminal Minds, searching on Pinterest, and reading. One of Jana’s career goals is to work as an account executive or a project manager at an ad agency. 
If Jana could either have the ability to fly or the ability to read peoples minds she would choose to fly, because she thinks reading peoples would become overwhelming and stressful. If she could go back to a certain time era, she would go back to the 1950’s because of the cars, diners, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis! If Jana could only have one meal for the rest of her life, she would have lasagna. Jana is inspired by Ellen, her favorite word is nap, and if she could learn to do one thing, she would learn to scuba dive!

Myles Bous
This week’s second Northway Spotlight is Myles Bous.
Myles is a CEO and Social Media lead for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication and Design degree. Myles is originally from Sartell, Minnesota. In his free time he enjoys golfing, playing sports, photography, reading, being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family. In 5 years Myles see’s himself working for a local ad agency as a graphic designer or social media specialist. One of his career goals is to be a creative director at an ad agency. 
If Myles could either have the ability to fly or read people’s minds, Myles would choose to fly so he could travel the world. If he could go back to a certain time era he would go back to the Jurassic Period, because Jurassic Park is his all-time favorite movie. If he could have one meal for the rest of his life, he would have Chipotle, bowl with white rice, chicken and everything else, *including guac. 
Myles is inspired by his dad, Steve Jobs, Lebron James, Steven Taylor, and many other artists/photographers. Myles’ favorite word is Gucci. If he could learn how to do anything he would learn how to dance well, and when asked the question: Where’s Waldo, Myles responded with, “Chillen on the beach in Hawaii, with his peeps”.

Morgan Pudans
This week’s first Northway Spotlight is Morgan Pudans.
Morgan is a creative and social media specialist for our team. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication and Design degree. Morgan is originally from the great state of Iowa! In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, horseback riding and running. 
One of Morgan’s career goals is to work for a local ad agency or perhaps even be self employed. Another career goal of hers is to do design work for and archery brand like Mathews, or for Cruel Girl Jeans. If Morgan could either have the ability to fly or read people’s minds she would choose to fly, because she would save so much money on gas. If she could go back to any time era, she would go back to the Wild Wild West era, because horses were the only form of transportation. If Morgan could only have one meal for the rest of her life, she would have homemade buffalo chicken pizza. 
Morgan is inspired by her mom, because she is the strongest person she knows. Her favorite word is sweet; if she could learn to do anything she would learn how to garden successfully, and when asked the question: Where’s Waldo? she replied with, “In Jeff’s Beard”.

Dan Ploof
This week’s second Northway Spotlight is Dan Ploof.
Dan is one of the CEO’s of our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and will be graduating this semester with an Advertising Communication & Design degree. Dan is from St. Cloud, Minnesota. In his free time he enjoys playing frisbee golf, designing, and watching design tutorials. In 2 years Dan see’s himself working at a local ad agency and in 5 years he sees himself working at an International agency, preferably in Europe. 
If Dan could have the ability to fly or the ability to read peoples minds, he would choose to read peoples minds while flying. If Dan could go back in time to a certain time era, he would choose to go back in increments of 25 years and visit many era’s. If Dan could only have one meal for the rest of his life, he would eat pizza. Dan is inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt, Erwin Rommel, and George S. Patten. Dan’s favorite word is create, if he could learn to do one thing he would learn to live forever and when asked the question, Where’s Waldo? Dan drew an arrow to stick figure he drew of Waldo on the paper.

Jan Theisen

This week’s first Northway Spotlight is Jan Theisen.  Jan is a Creative for our group and also helps with web/social media. She is currently attending SCTCC and is double majoring, earning her Advertising Communication & Design degree, along with a degree in Web Design. She is from Albany, MN. In her free time, Jan likes to knit. In five years Jan sees herself working full time designing ads and websites. 

When asked if she would rather have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, Jan said she would want to read people’s minds so she would know what to expect from people. If Jan could go back to a certain time era she would go back to the 80’s for the music. If she could have one meal for the rest of her life she would choose: filet minon wrapped with bacon, mashed potatoes, green beans, pie, and a glass of wine. Jan is inspired by her family because they’ve always supported her. Her favorite saying is: oh well. She is excited about learning web design, would also like to learn how to give massages, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Jan replied: behind the elephant. That is this week’s first Northway Spotlight Jan Theisen!

Josh Kardell
This week’s second Northway Spotlight is Josh Kardell.
Josh Kardell is a Creative for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is double majoring, earning his Advertising Communication & Design degree, along with a degree in Web Design. He is from Sauk Rapids, MN. In his free time, Josh likes to play pond hockey and video games. 
In five years Josh sees himself making a lot of money, having a good job, owning a house, and having a family. When asked if he would rather have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, Josh would want the ability to fly so he could travel. If Josh could go back to any time era he would want to go to the Wild West! If he could have one meal for the rest of his life he would choose pizza. Josh is inspired by his mom and Batman. His favorite word is shrub, he would like to learn how to program, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Josh replied: chilling with Elvis and Amelia Earhart on a deserted island.

Chris Armstrong
This week’s Northway Spotlight is Chris Armstrong.
Chris is a web designer for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is double majoring, earning his Advertising Communication & Design degree, along with a degree in Web Design. He is from Renville, MN. In his free time, Chris likes to write music. 
In five years Chris sees himself working for an ad agency or a music company. When asked if he would rather have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, Chris said he would like to fly. If Chris could go back to a certain time era he would go back to the 1920’s. If he could have one meal for the rest of his life he would choose Tortellini Alfredo. Chris is inspired by music and modern art. His favorite word is ziti, he would like to learn how to be a pirate, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Chris replied with “In the cupboard with a candle stick”.

Amber Sieling
This week’s second Northway Spotlight is Amber Sieling.
Amber is a Creative and an Account Executive for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. She is from Foley, MN. In her free time Amber likes to spend time with family, cook, and watch movies. In five years Amber sees herself getting a high paid job or starting her own ad agency. 
When asked if she would rather have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, Amber would like to have the ability to fly because it would be disturbing to know what people are thinking. When asked what period of time she would go back to if she could choose, she stated: “I would definitely Flinestone it!” If she could have one meal for the rest of her life she would choose authentic Mexican tacos with cilantro. Amber is inspired by her fiancé because he works really hard and her kids because she continues to learn from them every day. Her favorite saying is: awesome sauce! If Amber could learn anything she would like to learn Spanish or sign language, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Amber replied: “In the book he was printed in”.

Ally Peterson
This week’s first Northway Spotlight features Ally Peterson.
Ally is an Account Executive and Creative for our group. She is currently going to school at SCTCC, and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication and Design degree. She is originally from Frederic, Wisconsin. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and reading. One of Ally’s career goals is to design and star in commercials. In five years she hopes to either be on T.V. or heard over the radio in commercials. 
If Ally could either have the ability to fly or the ability to read peoples minds, she would choose to fly because she could travel anywhere. If she could go back in time to a different era, she would go back to the disco era. If Ally could only have one meal for the rest of her life, she would have anything from Subway. Ally is inspired by her sister and colorful things, her favorite word is perplexed, and if she could learn to do anything she would learn sign language. When asked the question: Where’s Waldo? Ally responded with, “Waldo is in the train station sitting on the bench, eating a banana”.

Melissa Jokela
This week’s second Northway Spotlight features Melissa Jokela.
Melissa is a lead Creative for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. Melissa is originally from Hutchinson, Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys, reading, writing, playing video games, watching Netflix, surfing the web, and hanging out with friends. Some of Melissa’s career goals are to be a creative at an innovative ad agency, as well as work with animation and web design. 
If Melissa could have the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, she would choose to fly. If she could go back to any time era she would go back to the Medieval times. If Melissa could only have one meal for the rest of her life, she would have a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a Dr. Pepper. She is inspired by seeing her friends artwork, as well as other design work online. Melissa’s favorite word is periwinkle. If she could learn to do anything she would learn how to play the piano or guitar. When asked the question: Where’s Waldo? Melissa responded with, “Exploring dangerous ruins”.

Katie Crawford
This week’s first Northway Spotlight is Katie Crawford.
Katie is one of our CEO’s. She is currently attending SCTCC, and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication and Design degree. She is originally from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. In her spare time she enjoys playing video games, reading, making art and collecting cameras. Katie’s career goals are to become a graphic designer at an ad agency and eventually open up her own business. 
If Katie could either read people’s minds or fly, she would choose to read people’s minds because she thinks it would be interesting to know people’s thought processes. If Katie had a time machine and could go back to a certain era, she would go back to the 1920’s because of the fashion. If she could only eat one meal for the rest of her life she would eat mac & cheese. Katie is inspired by music and art, her favorite word is pixel, and if she could learn to do anything she would learn how to design video games. When asked the question: Where’s Waldo? Katie responded with, “Canada”.

Adam Studer
This week’s Northway Spotlight is Adam Studer!
Adam is a creative for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication and Design degree as well as a Web Design degree. Adam is from St. Cloud, Minnesota. In his free time he enjoys producing hip hop and dubstep music, golfing, skateboarding, photography, and playing solitaire. One of Adma’s career goals is to build an agency that pushes the limits of technology and media in advertising. 
When asked whether he would like the ability to fly or read people’s minds, he would read minds, as long as he could turn it off. If Adam could go back to any time era, he would choose to go back to the 50’s, when vintage was modern. If he could eat one meal for the rest of his life, he would eat $5 Hot and Ready pizza from Little Caesar’s. Adam is inspired by his mother, because she is a tough cookie that raised 3 boys in what seemed to be several impossible situations. Adam’s favorite word is dude, because you can have a conversation with someone by repeating it in different tones. If he could learn do do anything he would learn to fly a small plane, so he can fly to different places and when asked the question: Where’s Waldo? Adam responded with, “Ask my kids. I can never find Waldo, too distracting. I’ll look for Carmen Santiago; yeah, I’m that old”.

Jonathan Christman

Jon is a lead creative for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication & Design degree. Jon is originally from the Foley area. In his free time, he likes to play guitar, write music, and play video games with his friends. Jon’s career goals are to record albums with a band, and work at a top design company. 

When asked if he would rather have the ability to fly or read peoples minds, he would like to fly. If Jon could go back to a certain time era, he would want to check out the Seattle grunge scene of the early 90’s. If he could have one meal for the rest of his life he would choose steak and lobster. Jon is inspired by the musicians he listens to every day. His favorite word is breadbasket, and he would like to learn how to play the violin. When asked Where’s Waldo? Jon responded with: in our hearts.

This week’s Northway Spotlight features Michael Green.
Michael is an account executive for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication and Design degree. Mike is from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. In his free time he enjoys biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, hunting, and being with friends and family. In 5 years he sees himself working at an ad agency in Minneapolis or Chicago. 
When asked if he would like the ability to fly or the ability to read people’s minds, he would choose to read minds. If Mike could go back to a certain time era he would go back to the wild west. If he could only eat one meal for the rest of his life he would eat pizza because you can change the toppings. Michael is inspired by his parents and cousins, and his favorite word is honesty, because it is such an important thing. If Mike could learn to do anything, he would learn how to surf, and when asked the question: where’s Waldo? Mike responded with, “Not sure, did you try texting him?”

This week’s Northway Spotlight is Melissa Olmscheid.
Missy is the Project Manager for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is double majoring, earning her Advertising Communication & Design degree, along with a degree in Web Design. She is from St. Augusta. In her free time, Missy likes to draw, write, read, play video games, and binge watch Netflix. In five years Missy sees herself working at an ad agency in the St. Cloud area hopefully work as a designer. 
When asked if she would rather have the ability to fly or read people’s minds, Missy said she would choose both. If Missy could go back to a certain time era she would go back to the 1970’s or the 1930’s. If she could have one meal for the rest of her life she would choose chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. Missy is inspired by food, friends, and family. Her favorite word is hullaballoo, she would like to learn to speak fluently in a few different languages, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Missy replied: with yo momma!

Brooke Vogel
This week’s Northway Spotlight is Brooke Vogel.
Brooke is a creative for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication and Design degree. She was born and raised in St. Cloud. In her free time, Brooke enjoys taking photos. She likes developing photos and film the old school way. Brooke sees herself designing promotional items for bands, such as tour posters, in her future. 
When asked if she would have the ability to fly or read people’s minds, Brooke said she would like to have the ability to fly because she wouldn’t want to know what some people are thinking. If Brooke could go back to a certain time era she would go back to the 60’s for Beatle Mania! If she could have one meal for the rest of her life she would choose pizza because it’s so customizable. Brooke is inspired by just about everything! She loves art or anything that someone makes with obvious passion. Her favorite word is hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia, she would like to learn everything (knowledge is power), and when asked Where’s Waldo? Brooke replied: witness protection. People need to stop stalking him.

Bridget Bjorge

This week’s Northway Spotlight is Bridget Bjorge.
Bridget is the Lead Account Executive for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. She is originally from Sartell and now lives in the St. Cloud area. In her free time Bridget enjoys watching shows and movies on Netflix. One of Bridget’s career goals is to get a good job someplace where she is appreciated! 

When asked if she would rather have the ability to fly or read people’s minds, Bridget said she would like to have the ability to fly. If Bridget could go back to a certain time era she would go back to the 1920’s for flappers and prohibition. If she could have one meal for the rest of her life she would choose peanut butter. Bridget is inspired by her kids. They are the reason she gets up every morning. Her favorite word is defenestrate, she would like to learn how to draw, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Bridget replied: hiding in plain sight.

Janelle Fitch

This week's Northway Spotlight is Janelle Fitch.

Janelle is a creative for our group. She is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn her Advertising Communication & Design degree. She is originally is from a little town up north called Aitkin. In her free time, Janelle enjoys making her children smile and scrapbooking. One of Janelle’s career goals is to work for an in-house advertising agency like The Children’s Place or JC Penny. When asked if she would rather have the ability to fly or read peoples minds, Janelle would like to read people’s minds because she would know if she was doing the right design. It would also be helpful when interviewing for a job. If Janelle could go back to a certain time era she would go back to the Jurassic period to see all the dinosaurs, and see if the hypothesis about their lives and how they looked. If she could have one meal for the rest of his life, Janelle would choose any kind of pasta. Jeff Palm inspires Janelle because “he pushes me to be the best I can be, and he believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself.” Her favorite word is inspiration, because without it, she couldn’t design. She would like to speak Spanish and Somali to be a bigger asset to a company. When asked Where’s Waldo? Janelle responded with: hiding in Jeff’s pocket.

This week's Northway Spotlight features Kat Zwilling.

In her free time, Kat enjoys taking photos, cooking, snowboarding, and working out. One of Kat’s career goals is to have a career she loves, and excel at it. If she could have one meal for the rest of his life Kat would choose any meat and potatoes. Her parents inspire Kat because they are the hardest working people she knows. If Kat could learn to do one new thing she would like to learn how to be taller. When asked Where’s Waldo? Kat responded with: hiding.

Cody Jost
This week’s Northway Spotlight is Cody Jost.
Cody is a Creative for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication & Design degree. He is originally from Albany, MN. In his free time Cody enjoys playing football, drawing, and playing disc golf. Cody’s career goal is to be working for an ad agency where he can display his talent, learn, and better himself. When asked if he would rather have the ability to fly or read minds, Cody said he would like to have the ability to read peoples’ minds. If Cody could go back to a certain time era he would go back to the 1500’s so he could see some of the best artists. If he could have one meal for the rest of his life he would choose Mongo’s with Mountain Dew. Cody is inspired by his fellow co-workers and his boss, whom he says inspire him every day to be a better person. His favorite word is indubitably, he would like to learn how to play the guitar, and when asked Where’s Waldo? Cody answered: No one knows where Waldo is. He doesn’t want to be found.

Blake Rychner

The first Northway Spotlight of the semester is Blake Rychner.

Blake is a creative and an account executive for our group. He is currently attending SCTCC and is looking to earn his Advertising Communication & Design degree, along with a Web Design degree. He is originally from the St. Cloud area. In his free time Blake enjoys being outdoors, playing paintball, snowboarding, rock climbing, and hiking. One of Blake’s career goals is to have experience with a large ad agency and also travel the United States doing freelance work. When asked if he would rather have the ability to fly or read peoples minds, Blake said reading peoples minds, because if you can communicate effectively you can do anything. If Blake could go back to a certain time era he would go back to Medieval times because you had to fight for everything in order to have a good life. If he could have one meal for the rest of his life he would choose a bacon cheeseburger. Blake is inspired by wrestlers because of their determination to get the job done. His favorite word is Boondoggle, he would like to learn how to read body language and when asked Where’s Waldo? Blake responded with: probably hiding in the Atlantic.
