Northway Notes for January 16th-24th

Northway is officially off and running for the semester. We started by deciding our positions and going over the contract for the semester. We started this week off with a team building project: "The Heart of Northway" we also went over the specific details of every position. On Wednesday we had a mock interview, to show how to dress and what questions to ask when we have a client. We found out we have our first client of the semester on Wednesday January 30th, we will also be taking our group picture that day. Northway Spotlight of the Week: Reanna Leuthard

Reanna Leuthard, from Clearwater, MN is our Northway Spotlight of the week.  This is Reanna’s second semester with us and is our Lead Creative. When not at school or work, Reanna likes to draw, read, spend time with family & friends and likes to rollerblade. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats and roughly 14 chickens. Her greatest accomplishment is that she designed the DECA state pin last year. Something no one knows about her is that she is learning how to snowboard. Way to go Reanna!

Northway Spotlight of the Week: Brittany Rech

Brittany Rech, from Sartell, MN is our Northway Spotlight of the Week. Her role in Northway is the Web Lead. Brittany joined Northway to gain experience at a real agency. She likes to read, spend time with friends & family, boating, and go fishing. Her favorite color is tangerine. Her greatest accomplishment is being successful in school. Her life goals are to excel in her career, to travel and to have a family one-day. She also started to learn how to play acoustic guitar. Congrats Brittany! 

Starting off 2013

Happy 2013! With a new year brings a new semester and new students for The Northway Group! Today was the first day we met as a group. After looking at the group of 20 students, I am happy to say we have a pretty good, energetic, and talented group that are ready to work hard. The new CEO’s this semester are Katie Carlson, April Kortlever, Sam Steffes & Kelsey Zachman as an alternate. Paige Boileau is our Northway member of the week.

Paige Boileau from Brainerd, MN is a creative at The Northway Group. Paige joined Northway to expand her knowledge of the advertising field and to get a taste of what working in the advertising industry will be like. Her favorite color is yellow. Her greatest accomplishment is being employed since age 15. Paige’s future goals are to have a good job and great family. She loves to drink energy drinks to keep her energized. Paige’s favorite past time is watching movies. She also enjoys summer because she loves going to the lake.

Second Round of Clients

The Northway Group has been busy with client meetings for our second round of clients. We are very excited to start designing and working with our new clients. Tomorrow Kids Fighting Hunger is coming in for a client interview. It will be a great day in Northway!

Northway Member of the Week: Megan Hayes

Megan Hayes is an account executive and social media expert at The Northway Group. She is from Monticello, Minnesota and decided to come to SCTCC to explore the advertising program. She joined Northway to get some real life experience and to meet new people. When she is not working on Northway she enjoys hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Megan has two pets, a dog named Roxi and a duck named Irvin. Winter is her favorite season because she loves to go ice-skating and snowmobiling. Megan’s greatest accomplishment is winning state in lacrosse her senior year of high school.
