Paige Boileau is our Northway member of the week.

Paige Boileau from Brainerd, MN is a creative at The Northway Group. Paige joined Northway to expand her knowledge of the advertising field and to get a taste of what working in the advertising industry will be like. Her favorite color is yellow. Her greatest accomplishment is being employed since age 15. Paige’s future goals are to have a good job and great family. She loves to drink energy drinks to keep her energized. Paige’s favorite past time is watching movies. She also enjoys summer because she loves going to the lake.

Second Round of Clients

The Northway Group has been busy with client meetings for our second round of clients. We are very excited to start designing and working with our new clients. Tomorrow Kids Fighting Hunger is coming in for a client interview. It will be a great day in Northway!

Northway Member of the Week: Megan Hayes

Megan Hayes is an account executive and social media expert at The Northway Group. She is from Monticello, Minnesota and decided to come to SCTCC to explore the advertising program. She joined Northway to get some real life experience and to meet new people. When she is not working on Northway she enjoys hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Megan has two pets, a dog named Roxi and a duck named Irvin. Winter is her favorite season because she loves to go ice-skating and snowmobiling. Megan’s greatest accomplishment is winning state in lacrosse her senior year of high school.

Hard at Work

We have been working hard this past week. All of our designers have been polishing their designs and Account Executives have been lining up new clients for the second half of the semester. We even did some photography for Boys & Girls Club this week. Stay tuned to learn about each Northway member.

Agency Fun

Yesterday we all went out with the rest of the Advertising department to SCSU's Husky Challenge Course.It was a great time had by all with the team building activities and climbing on the high wires.Today many students plan to participate in the local Agency Crawl. It is a busy week filled with fun for all!

Two New Clients!

We are now working with two more clients: Omni and SCSU Health Services. Omni is a new company that specializes in eye therapy. To learn more about Omni visit www.optometrists.org/omni/. We are excited to start brainstorming for both clients next week. Monday we are going over our first roughs of the semester for our client Success Freaks.

Starting out the new Semester Strong

The Northway Group would like to welcome our three new CEOs: Andrea Yurczyk, Ashley Pipenhagen and Holly Pundsack. They have been busy getting this semester’s ad agency started, as well as our leads. This year’s leads are made up of four individuals: Melissa Kenney (Project Manager) Katie Carlson (Lead Creative), Victor Bruno (Lead Web) and Kelsey Zachman (Lead A.E.). Northway would also like to welcome back April Kortlever and Travis Sand.

This week we made a list of some clients we would like to work with this semester. Kelsey and Melissa have been working on getting the clients’ contact information so the account executives can begin to cold call. We had a mock client come in to show the new Northway members our creative process and critiquing style. We also showed the new account executives how to cold call clients. We taught the new Northway members how to mount and present their designs, as well as some tips and tricks with the Adobe programs.

We have a lot of new faces in Northway: Paige Boileau, Ashley Freeman, Megan Hayes, Jeremy Hebert, Sam Hoff, Shelley Jarju, Justin Kirkholm, Reanna Leuthard, Danielle Notch, Brittany Rech, Sam Seffes, Christy Sibley, and Nicole Spangenberg. They all are very eager and excited to learn how The Northway Group ad agency runs, which is exactly they kind of attitude we are looking for.

Success Freaks was our first client to come in this semester. Success Freaks is a company that consist of two men that do motivational speaking.
